Job Description
This is a contract role for 6 months, extendable, offering £425 to £475 (inside IR35) depending upon experience. It is based in London (Initially remote and flexible working is offered). Responsibilities:
- To Analyse market data and to produce reports and recommendations on how best to proceed with that particular area of work.
- Effective and efficient public domain and industry publications search – google, comparison sites (Capterra, G2, etc.), Gartner, etc.
- Scouting, segmenting, shortlisting, profiling of industry players: competitors, possible partners, customers
- Formulation of hypothesis on competitive positions – understanding of relative competitive positions and identification of competitive edges, understanding of product/ service substitutes
- Comparison and scoring of product features (functional, non-functional, integration effort, further development needed, etc.)
- Providing competitive insights into the digital product development process – influencing product roadmap
- Market sizing – TAM, SAM, SOM – market growth assumptions
- Creation and ownership of market analysis frameworks
- Based on the research working with the commercialisation team or partnerships team to do work including
