Job Description
This is a contract role based in Croydon but allows remote working. The role is offering £350-£450 (Outside IR35). The role is for 6 months and it is extendable. This role is for a top Global Consulting Firm.
Required Skills:
- AWS cloud, Terraform, DevOps
Must Haves:
- Excellent AWS experience (3+ years)
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect/Developer – Associate or DevOps Engineer Professional
- Terraform, packer, Docker
- Hands-on experience on DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub
- AWS Services: R53, ECS, IAM, EC2, EFS, ECR, RDS, ElastiCache, LB, VPC (Advanced), WAF, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Landing Zone
- HAProxy/Nginx
- Python (advanced)
- Windows Server Services: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS
- Linux (advanced)
Good to Have:
- Knowledge on configuration tools like puppet/ansible
- Knowledge on SonarQube
- Agile sprint-based delivery
Expectations from the Role:
- Develop & maintain Infrastructure platform automation & support scripts (mainly in Terraform) & Python
- Build and maintenance of Highly available and scalable solution on AWS micro-services like on ECS, EKS, Fargate
- Good knowledge on API and SDKs & on Terraform, Terraform modules, Python (Advance), Serverless, Packer
- Extensive knowledge and experience and act as an SME for cloud technologies (AWS) and advocate standards and best practices to be applied.
- Support in automation like environment provisioning, s/w patching, other infrastructure related activities.
